FACRAO 2008 Staying Alive!

FACRAO Greetings!

On behalf of the FACRAO Executive Committee, I am delighted to announce that the 2008 FACRAO Conference in Jacksonville is on! This year's conference is being held June 8th-10th at the beautiful
Hyatt Regency Jacksonville-Riverfront hotel.

Dignity U Wear

This year's featured charity is Dignity U Wear. Founded in 2001 by philanthropist and Holocaust survivor Heri Landwirth in Jacksonville, Diginity U Wear seeks to restore hope, dignity, and self-esteem in the lives of children and adults in need by distributing new clothes at no cost to the recipients.

They receive clothing donations from individuals, manufacturers and retailers, and distribute them to over 300 recipient non-profit agencies across the United States. Over 4 million pieces of clothing have been distributed to more than 354,000 people in need.

FACRAO encourages you to support this chairy by bringing one or more articles of clothing from your campus bookstore. Check, cash, and clothing donations may be made at the registration tables throughout the conference, and will be be presented to Dignity U Wear at the closing luncheon on Tuesday.
